This is strange, but all my life I had a right bundle branch block misdiagnosed as WPW (large Q waves in II and III). Five hours and six catheters later, he gave me a matching one on my left side. I'm fine now. And enjoy caffeine etc.
Apparently, the Afib was eased a bit by sugar crashes? And why did I lose all of this weight suddenly after the surgery? MAYBE because when I lost the Afib I lost the need for the sugar high and crashes? You've mentioned Afib a few times lately. I think there is definitely a psychological feedback that alters common sense health decisions. For me the thrill of not having to eat all of the time was new, but very real.
