Remember Galilee, Capernaum, and where Jesus mostly lived and preached, were Greek. The earliest bibles were Greek. His biggest disciple, Paul, was Greek. Pederasty was huge part of Greek society. Not particularly gay. More functional. And not penetration, but rubbing on the legs of young boys. Yes, it sounds criminal in today's society, but it was a part of the society. And was practiced often in Greek clubs and spas.

Because it conflicts with the mores of our society, it makes sense that this was ignored and deleted. Even in the Council of Nicea, where Romans worked to eliminate Greek influence from the bible. But this doesn't mean it wasn't true.
