Personally I think every added dimension gives us an ability to move within a world outside of the limitations otherwise. A stick figure in a two dimensional world? Lift up the pencil and move from the feet to the head through the third dimension. Our three dimensional world? We move from place to place by the fourth dimension, time. Following, a hypothetical fifth dimension should move through time.

I mean, super-symmetry may be disregarded these days, but there are signs that maybe there ARE 11 dimensions out there? And if not? At the worst it helps explain the theory beyond complex mathematics of super-symmetry.
