NO!!! The body NEEDS saturated fats. Cholesterol is made with saturated fats, AND FRUCTOSE. You DON'T need fructose. It is in table sugar and soft drinks. This was known by Ancel Keys in 1953, but he misread his own research. And the saturated fats ban/food pyramid were promoted by the food industry. Personally, I eat no sugar, I eat the fat on my meat, and my fasting cholesterol is 140.
