Many have called Carole King the "Queen of Beach Music". Hard to disagree. She wrote of lot for the beach music bands.

I remember seeing Booker T and the MGs a few years ago. Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn talked about the old days, having to stay in separate hotels and such. Hard to believe, but true.
