I wrote an admittedly-uneducated paper once advancing the hypothetical scenario that a 2D man couldn't see something in the third dimension. And then I advanced the logic to dark matter and string theory. Even to the extent that an added dimension would give us the ability to see things beyond OUR dimension. Of course my fourth dimension was time travel...so maybe dark matter was a fifth dimensional phenomenon? lolol....hey we all started somewhere back in the day.

As I try to follow your mathematics, I have to chuckle at myself. I am the same person who spent hours trying to understand some of the pages of Hawking's "Brief History of Time". Joking aside, because of my efforts, I can describe event horizons and the like...
