I try not to push too hard for too long. I've lost 150 pounds and am now at 200. It's been a year or so since I last tried to lose weight. But my weight, exercise, and bloodwork has been stable and positive. So I decided it is time to lose my last 25 pounds, taking me to 175: Half my former weight.
I don't understand how this works from a behavioral standpoint. But I do know it just is a matter of making up my mind. Like when I quit (medical) marijuana a month or so ago. I should be done by March sometime.
