I have worked extensively in Greece, and other Mediterranean locations. And have a good friend from Lebanon. I eat what I call a low-carb Mediterranean diet. Modest amounts of meats and seafood, fair amounts of cheese, small bits of treats like hummus, eggs every morning...and...a liter of olive oil a week at a minimum. If I have a secret, it is Mission low-carb tortillas, coated with olive oil, and microwaved for three minutes. Then the crisps make a great way to dip into guacamole and the aforementioned hummus. I use the big wheat tortillas, they are called carb balance. Wonderful.

Oh, and I have lost 150 pounds. I'm now down to 210 and proudly display my loose skin at any opportunity. lol
