I have worked extensively in Aalesund and Ulsteinvik, and spent time in Oslo. On one hand, considering morals, strength of beer, relationships between people, Norwegians seem to me the closest to American people in all of Europe. Relationships, dating, work...I felt right at home. Sweet people. Food was a different story. Though I did develop quite a love for Molte, both the pastry found on the numerous ferries, and the yellow jam... made with what I think in English we call cloudberries? I've never heard of them otherwise. Wonderful place.
