I eat breakfast, eggs coated with olive oil, no lunch, and then dinner maybe 3 hours before bed? If I go to bed late, I eat dinner late. I don't worry about it. Why is that? Something I picked up in Greece. For them, dinner at 10PM before a midnight bedtime is common.
Let me just say this: My low-carb eating keeps my blood-glucose stable. Usually 85-95. So my low-carb, Mediterranean eating, even late at night, doesn't keep me awake? Obviously, this seems to be the case with Greeks as well? Not to argue with your survey by using apocrypha, but still it is worth mentioning, I think.
(I do have to be careful, though, because if I don't eat all day, I can crash.)
