I don’t mean this as a philosophy for anyone other than me: This is a personal core belief, but I always look to myself. I try to maintain some sense of coherence, and if I don’t, I consider it MY failing alone.

Conversely, I try to be respectful of all women. If a woman isn’t an active participant, it is time to stop. There is NOTHING wrong with asking a woman her limits ahead of time, in a sober fashion. You can ALSO ASK HER DIRECTLY IF SHE LIKES TO BE PERSUADED… YES, YOU CAN ASK THAT. I have had more than one woman who has said yes, and said if she means no, that she will effectively communicate that at the time. One even confided she likes to be able to say to herself after the fact that he had no choice. The strangest part is that this sometimes builds trust that would have never been there otherwise.

I try to never depend on others for my moral integrity. Things can happen, but I intend to be the shepherd of my own actions, so to speak.
