I am now simply old and ugly...instead of how I used to be, old, FAT, and ugly. The hardest thing for me was reining in the self-deprecating behavior that used to make me feel somewhat like I was accepted, despite weighing 350 pounds. It was a challenge.

The first time some cute CUTE young girl flirted with me....my reaction was that she was being mean. Very strange of me, but it is hard to change one's self image like that. But I did eventually.
