How a Deaf Friend Helped Me Understand Spirituality

It was so simple. He wrote that his view of the universe is limited because of his disability. He said he felt bad that blind people were also limited. But then he said something that was hard to believe:

“Blind people understand more of the universe than deaf people. Because their vibration is different, and more in tune with the universe’s entirety.”

I had trouble believing him, but I have read it over and again. And he is obviously correct, whether I agree or not.

It made me think. Are there other colors we can’t see? How are WE limited???

And then, it made me REALLY think:

Okay, so what is there in the universe that WE can’t see?

We can sense it, we can feel it, art and literature tells us it exists. But what is it?

Consider this:

There are different colors, different vibrations. Basically sight and sound are simply different vibrations. And spiritual people talk about things as explicit as a parallel dimension. Religious people talk about the Holy Spirit. Maybe Jesus lived in…
