Hoeing the nutgrass out of the collard greens.

I have long believed that Mr Darwin gave us tools to adapt to the life we have been given. No doubt that faith is a source of comfort, as well as a connection to our forefathers. And there are worse ways on which to base one’s life, other than on love for God, and love for our fellow man.

Personally, I am curious as to what lies beyond. But I also realize that these are all tools to help us live in the place where we were assigned. Whether this assignation has a purpose: or, was purposely random. It matters not to me.

As we said on the farm growing up. just keep hoeing the nutgrass out of the collard greens. Try to do some good in the world. Love your neighbor. Turn the other cheek. Go the extra mile. Yes, there are MUCH worse ways to live your life. At least this works for me.
