Everyone's faith and beliefs are different. Me? Jesus spoke in parables. He was typical of his era. I am always amazed how people resist the idea that maybe the bible itself is a parable! Love is not, nor ever has been, exclusive to Christianity. But that has never meant that church and faith can't maintain a huge place in someone's life.

Faith is a gift. We can use it or not. And I seriously doubt that anyone who reads my comments would think I am a true Christian. If Jesus were simply a creation of the era, I would still believe in turning the other cheek, going the extra mile, loving my neighbor... Because that is what MY faith tells me.

Please remember, it was Jesus Himself who said the greatest commandment is always, to "love God and love thy neighbor..."
