Being a Floridian, my Spanish isn’t perfect, but I’m not bad. When I started working in Europe years ago, I settled on German as a third language. I didn’t have much work in France, and determined that I could survive with English and Spanish elsewhere else. Actually, German was easier for me than Spanish. And I can travel at least.

I think German and Spanish were manageable. I would hate to have to LEARN English…
