Apocryphal, no doubt. But I radically changed my diet years ago. Every morning I eat eggs and olive oil in some form. Then I stay low-carb Mediterranean for dinner. (For lack of a better description.) But the eggs and olive oil are the key. My microbiome? I no longer take Pepcid nor antacids. My stomach rarely ever bothers me. Before the changes, it was a common challenge. It's been many years and I can't say enough that the difference is substantial.
